Kristin Fisher was hired by CNN on the 20th of July, 2021, as Space and Defense Correspondent. She covers everything, including NASA and Space Force, Space Force and commercial space companies to the advent of space tourism. As the daughter of 2 NASA astronauts Kristin was raised in the space industry and was a part of the space industry for five years, covering the Biden and Trump Administration's space policies as a White House Correspondent for FOX News. During that time, she also reported on impeachment hearings for President Trump and the 2020 presidential election and efforts by two administrations to stop the spread of the Coronavirus. She traveled extensively with both the President and Vice-President included an exclusive trip to Afghanistan and Afghanistan, which she travelled on with Donald Trump. Kristin was a television reporter in Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, Washington, D.C., in which she was awarded the Emmy Award for her work as an "one-man-band" reporter prior to joining CBS in the year 2015. Utilizing her expertise on the set, Kristin founded Field Mouse Films in 2014. The company focused on making documentary-style movies for clients of corporate nature, including Uber and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin holds a Bachelor's degree of journalism at Boston University. Her husband and three year-old daughter reside in Washington, D.C.
